 Our curriculum is guided by the State of Ohio Early Learning Content Standards. Springboro Preschool Discovery recognizes the stages of development in children and our classroom environment allows children the needed space and materials to play, work, discuss, listen, think, and to create. Our teachers act as facilitators as we provide age-appropriate, theme-based, hands-on learning in the following areas:
 - Literacy and Language Activities are presented to enhance development of vocabulary and language, print awareness, recognition of letters and sounds, and writing exploration.
- Math We provide hands-on activities to develop a wide range of math concepts that include counting and number recognition, shapes, math language, patterning, ordering, sequencing, and simple problem solving.
- Science and Social Studies Through daily opening activities and weekly themes children explore concepts that include: seasons, weather, holidays, home and family, dinosaurs, 5 senses, life cycles, magnets, nutrition, animal life, and many others.
- Art Children enjoy expressing creativity and individuality as well as increasing their fine motor skills through a variety of art mediums and cooking activities. Teacher facilitated crafts and projects are part of the curriculum and independent “free art “ and writing materials are available daily.
- Music and Movement Our large Motor Skill Room and outdoor play area provide the needed space for large muscle development through structured activities and free play time. Music and rhythm activities are incorporated into daily activities within each individual group, and all groups join together for a weekly music class.
 Our Toddlers and 3-4 year olds enjoy Special Sharing Days while our Pre-Kindergarten students enjoy sharing the "Mystery Bag" as they learn about letters and sounds.
